Surf's up

Well, my art is in demand. Shortly after I finished that Tinkerbell, my friend came to me and asked me to paint his surfboard. With this:

So I've been drawing it on all day. And it looks pretty good!

Who needs Photoshop?

Not me, that's who. I used to need it. But I got painter one day and-- BAM! No more need for Photoshop. Painter works fine too. Now, Photoshop is fine too. I wouldn't complain if I had it, honestly. But I can do enough with painter that I no longer pine for photoshop. :)

For example, I have colored in the goddess I drew.

I'm pretty proud. I love the way her hair turned out. It makes me happy!

Rediscovering painting

I haven't painted in months. Months and months and months. Depressing, really. So when my roommate asked me to paint a giant Tinkerbell, I got pretty excited. And then she brought me this giant piece of canvas... I got more excited. And then I actually sat down and painted it. Very exciting! Let's watch:

Her skin...

The outline.

Done! It took many hours. Many. And then I painted a giant banner that wished a four year old a happy birthday is pink letters.
